Battlefront.com正式公佈了海戰模擬遊戲《魚雷艇：南方開局》
(PT Boats: South Gambit)，作為《魚雷艇：海上騎士》 的獨立資料片（可脫
離原作運行），加入了更多的二戰戰役、武器裝備和可玩性。

在《南方開局》中，玩家將駕駛魚雷艇進入地中海， 護送盟國軍隊和物資補給
前往北非戰場，突破軸心國對馬爾他島的封鎖。而在黑海海域， 玩家要保護蘇
聯海上運輸線的安全，攻擊德軍的基地。遊戲結合了模擬和策略特性， 新增
IL-2、He 111、義大利戰艦、英國魚雷艇等各種作戰單位， 可以進行魚雷轟炸
和海上佈雷，並提高了AI和圖像效果。
